HFO cosmetic bonding

This lady had a stained composite white filling and we sandblasted, re-layered, recoloured and sealed the restoration to blend in better. No needles or drilling was needed for this procedures

More HFO Cosmetic Bonding

This is a nice case, completed in 45 minutes without needles or drilling. The surfaces of the teeth are sandblasted to roughen and clear out staining. Because of teh difficult bite, some adjustment had to be made to the inside surfaces of the lowers, again without needles.

Professional Tooth Whitening

Professional Tooth whitening is a safe effective procedure. We do not use one particular technique at our practice, we use a combination, specific to the patients needs and desires. In a one hour session, teeth can be noticeably brightened, but some of the best results are achieved with Deep Bleaching. This is a combination of individually fitted trays and desensitising pre treatment, power whitening and post procedure whitening.

CEREC molar Restoration

A common problem and a great solution in CEREC! Amalgam fillings, even small ones, expand and contract over time and cause weaker parts of the healthy tooth to crack, like an eggshell.

These cracks can often only be detected by us dentists using techniques such as "transillumiation" (shining a light through the tooth) or a crack tester whcih puts pressure on an exact spot on the tooth.

Cracked teeth often give you a sudden, very short pain when you bite on them. In this case, the cusp of the tooth has collapsed.

CEREC not only replaces the missed piece but RESTORES the tooth, giving it extra strength. We put a 10 year antibreakage guarantee on our CEREC work.

CEREC crown

Very enjoyable case of replacing a crown with the characteristic metal black line, with a new CEREC all porcelain crown. Completed start to finish in 2 hours. That black line is the metal substructure showing through underneath. CEREC has no metal so it is bonded in with tooth coloured resin which allows to light to travel through, creating no edges.

One Hour Cerec front crown

before (whiter photo)

A temporary had been placed by the previous dentist as an emergency measure. The sloping front tooth was causing lisping and was quite un-aesthetic. The crown was milled, coloured, glazed and finished using CEREC porcelain in about 90 minutes. The patient was overjoyed! We were extremely pleased with the end result and good colour matching with the help of Katina, my assistant.

Radical Cosmetic Bonding

Very proud of this case, using a type of cosmetic white filling material called HFO, an Italian material which comes in a vast range of colours and effects to mimic the individual layers of the tooth. Optident supply it and we are very pleased with the natural looking results.
