Dentist on awards shortlist
Dr Rob Endicott at the Quayside Dental Practice in Sovereign Harbour has been short listed for the Best Young Dentist award for the Dentistry Awards 2007.
Now in its second year, these regional awards launched by Dentistry Magazine have been created to recognise outstanding individuals, teams and practices who have an active interest in continuing professional development and staying at the top of the dental profession.
To enter, practices had to be nominated by patients and staff and then write to say why they deserved the award, backing up the entry with pictures, marketing materials and testimonials. Battling against practices within the region ensured the entries were of an exceptionally high standard.
"It is a great honour and I am thrilled to be nominated by my fantastic staff and patients here," said Rob."It is great to know that we are doing things right and I particularly thank my hygienist, practice manager and nursing staff, without whom I would never be able to do my job."
The judging panel consists of top members of the profession including dentists, hygienists and practice managers who will be looking to decide who is the best practice, best team and best young dentist in the region.
The winners will be announced at the Dentistry Awards Ceremony on December 7 at the Athena in Leicester.
This is the largest annual dentistry event ever in the UK.The UK has been divided into nine regions and once the winners for each region have been decided the winners then have a chance at being named overall UK best.
